Go to Settings (Cog icon on right top) > Manage apps > General settings (In Vamhi Jira+)
Specify the value in the screen below to restrict all group subscriptions exceeding the specified size.

i - Same Group Name Updates : Any updates to subscriptions with the same group name will be restricted irrespective of other parameters.

ii - Updates with Different Group Name : Updates to subscriptions with a different group name will be restricted if the new group's user count exceeds the defined threshold. If the group's user count remains within the threshold, subscriptions will be updated accordingly.

How to see user group count ?

→ Go to JIRA ADMINISTRATION settings > click User management > click Groups.
